RESIDENTIAL NURSING CARE

CareTech provides bespoke, individually-focused residential care for adults living with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and associated nursing needs.

We provide qualified, registered nursing staff 24 hours a day, so there is always a skilled professional on duty to provide specialist nursing care as required.

Our person-centred nursing care approach is based around our core values – that each resident is respected as an individual and treated with dignity. Each person has their own unique care plan that details their individual needs, ensuring consistency and continuity of nursing care.

Each person living in a CareTech home is encouraged to take on the responsibility and ownership of their home, and to take part in its day-to-day running. They are also given support to make decisions relating to their lives and can personalise their rooms by bringing in personal items such as furniture and if wanted, a television.

All dietary needs are taken into consideration and where required, specialist feeding aids are provided. Staff cook meals at each service and all have the necessary training and experience to enable them to understand specialist feeding regimes and routines. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day and night.

All CareTech nursing and intensive care services are registered with The Care Quality Commission, and each home works towards a high standard of compliance. All of our services have their own internal systems of quality assessment; we also have a team of highly skilled and experienced staff who are committed to ensuring that our care meets the holistic needs of the individual and maintains a dignified and fulfilling life for them.
