EXTRAORDINARY DAYS EVERY DAY
We have a simple belief that each person, regardless of his or her individual ability, should be able to live EXTRAORDINARY DAYS EVERY DAY, in achieving their goals.
Through a fully Person Centred approach, we support people to live happy, healthy and safe lives within their own communities. We do this by enabling each person to live the life they want to in fulfilling their individual aspirations, ambitions and personal goals.
Through a positive approach to risk management and use of Positive Behavioural Strategies (PBS), we support the most vulnerable people to live as independently and safely as possible within their local communities, enabling each person to live in as least a restrictive environment as possible.
We enable each person to access opportunities to participate in community-based activities, developing their skills through education and vocational training, to aspire to and achieve paid or voluntary employment opportunities.
We support people to live in their own homes, whether that be in small shared group homes or in their own self-contained flat. We focus on combining the right approach to therapeutic support combined with an environment which is personalised and adapted to individual needs.
Some people will benefit from the more structured environment of a small residential group home. Many people, irrespective of their individual need, will thrive by being supported to live in their own independent self-contained flat, managing their own tenancy and household budget. For those who need support and help with their mobility, we will provide fully accessible accommodation and facilities.
Our community-based day services support people of all abilities to access educational and vocational training facilities both on site and through community-based provision. We enable people to express their creativity through courses in Art & Crafts, Dance, Horticulture and Gardening. Our centres provide a hub and activities for people of all ages to mix socially and create long lasting friendships.
For those who continue to live with families, we offer respite services during the day, overnight and at weekends.
Our ability to enable people to achieve their goals is underpinned by five core values:
- Person Centred
- Positive
- Friendly
- Empowering
- Innovative
Our experienced management and support and therapy teams draw upon these values, in balancing an enabling approach, which promotes independence, with positive management of risks associated with behaviours that challenge.

Quality, Safety, Compliance and Regulation
The Compliance team has duties in the scrutiny and oversight of care matters, oversight of the Health and Safety Committee, information governance and a focus on professional development and practice issues. We continue to strengthen and adapt our compliance and assurance processes, while supporting all of our operational teams.
