It’s the vehicle for establishing and embedding our CareTech values into our organisational culture and behaviours and focussing on the frontline “core workplace skills”. The CareTech academy is the platform where a variety of learning can take place, through a blended approach.

Informal - learning from others and research activities.

Social – self-directed learning discussion groups and forums.

Formal - learning linked to qualifications and standards. 

DHA, a national training provider, have provided training, coaching and consulting since 1994. Specialising in health and social care, both with adults and children, and have grown to become a significant quality provider of apprenticeships, across a broad range of Health and Social standards. 

They provide a wide range of services to CareTech and the wider sector from H&SC - ASC, C&YP, leadership and management, and support staff qualifications through to apprenticeship standards that combine to support our people within their role. Supporting CareTech, improving our employee experience, supporting our talent acquisition and development, reducing costs, from improving retention and maximising our investment in our workforce. 

Finally, DHA have their own in-house curriculum team that design programmes to meet CareTech’s and the wider sector’s needs. They focus on individual learning styles and organisational objectives, ensuring learning is effective, informative and enjoyable.
