Quality, Safety & Compliance

Oversight and leadership for quality and compliance are exercised through the Care Quality & Governance Committee. 

The Committee oversees and supports the quality, compliance and clinical governance framework across the organisation. 

Amongst the key activities for the committee are:

• The scrutiny and oversight of all care quality matters
• Monitor and advise on safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children looked after throughout the Group 
• Promote awareness of safeguarding for adults and children and share best practice 
• Provide effective oversight of Group Health & Safety responsibilities 
• Ensure that appropriate policies are current, updated, implemented and monitoring systems in place 
• Review and monitor serious case reviews including complaints, whistle blowing allegations or reports arising from quality audit, ensuring lessons are learned and shared
