Coveberry Limited is part of CareTech Community Services. Coveberry provides expert assessment and rehabilitation for adults with a learning disability or autism who present with mental health or behavioural support needs, including those with a forensic history.
Our services span across low secure hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, residential nursing homes, residential homes and supported living services. Our approach to rehabilitation is consistent across acuity and focuses on:-

Our rehabilitation programmes follow a bio-psycho-social model of care, which treats the “whole person” not just the symptoms. Our experienced multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to develop bespoke care and treatment plans that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.
Our model of care focuses on therapeutic optimism, positive risk taking and relapse prevention. We believe that a person-centred, integrated approach to providing services is fundamental to delivering high-quality care.
Effective risk management and reduction in behaviours that challenge form an important element of care planning, which incorporates positive, meaningful engagement and reinforcement.
As part of our positive behaviour support approach we will complete a functional assessment of behaviour. We define and measure target behaviours, develop a range of functional skills and reactive strategies, provide positive reinforcement and systematic feedback and adopt predictable, planned interventions to de-escalate.
The physical healthcare and wellbeing of our patients and residents is just as important as their mental health, we will therefore ensure that they have access to the same health checks as the rest of the population.
