Executive appointments: Mike Adams and Joan Bone

CareTech formally announces Mike Adams as CareTech’s new Group Executive Lead for Communications and Marketing. Mike has been undertaking the role to build a step change in how we listen and talk to our staff. This has included working alongside Steve Bennett, Group Executive Director HR, to oversee CareTech's Employee Engagement Survey. Mike is also implementing a raft of actions to improve communication with external stakeholders.

Mike is well known from his 15 years with the organisation, firstly as a Non-Executive on the Board and the last few years as an Executive. He is the Founder and Creator of Purple and EnableAll, which he continues to oversee.

Joan Bone, who formerly held Group Executive responsibility for marketing and communications, is appointed to the new role of Group Executive Director, Corporate Support. Working in collaboration with her fellow Executive team members, Joan will ensure that the CareTech values, and our objective to deliver ‘Extraordinary days, every day’, are embedded across all areas of the Group.

Joan, who has been with CareTech for over 30 years, will be visiting services across our Adults and Children’s portfolios to ensure that quality and our people are central to all we do.
