DHA Managed Services is looking for a passionate and experienced Trainer & Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support the development of the next generation of childcare professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in the childcare sector who is committed to delivering high-quality training, coaching, assessment, and quality assurance. You will play a key role in supporting apprentices to successfully achieve their qualifications and progress their careers while ensuring the highest standards of delivery and compliance are maintained.

About the Role

As a Trainer & IQA, you will design and deliver engaging learning programmes, provide one-to-one coaching and group training, and support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You will also undertake Internal Quality Assurance activities to ensure assessment decisions are consistent, robust, and aligned with awarding body and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality apprenticeship training and assessment.
Supporting learners to achieve Functional Skills qualifications in English and Mathematics (Levels 1 & 2).
Monitoring learner progress and implementing timely interventions to ensure successful completion.
Liaising with employers to coordinate training delivery and monitor on- and off-the-job learning.
Preparing learners for End Point Assessment (EPA).
Acting as an Internal Quality Assurer, conducting sampling, standardisation activities, and supporting assessor development.
Maintaining accurate learner records, action plans, and progress reports.
Delivering short practical learning programmes such as Lead to Succeed and Well Led.
Supporting programme development in line with awarding body, DfE and Ofsted requirements.
Participating in continuous professional development and maintaining relevant occupational competence.

About You

Essential Qualifications

Relevant occupational qualification.
GCSE English and Mathematics at Level 2 (or equivalent).
A1/CAVA Assessor Qualification (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe).
V1/IQA Qualification (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe).
Teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe).

Essential Experience

Experience working within the childcare sector.
Experience delivering apprenticeship training and supporting timely achievement.
Experience creating and delivering engaging and motivating learning programmes.

Essential Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to build positive relationships with learners, employers, clients, and colleagues.
Experience producing accurate reports and management information.
Professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Other Requirements

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Willingness to travel between sites as required.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when needed.
