Role Description

Role: Residential Support Worker (Children’s Residential Care, Full-Time)

Location: Newtown, Powys, SY15 (Residential Care Home)

£32,938.80 - £35,434.80 per year (includes base salary + estimated sleep-in allowances)

Base Salary: £27,268.80 ( unqualified ) £29,764.80 ( qualified)

(Hourly rate : £13.11 -£14.31) 

Plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on an average of 7 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £5670 annually.

Full-Time permanent role. Consolidated shifts  - great work/life balance | Sleep-ins included ( 6-8 a month) 

A full Manual UK driving licence is required and we are unable to offer sponsorship for this vacancy.

Our Residential Support Workers receive specialist training in respect of early trauma, CSE, HSB, Children’s rights and participation. We work to a multi-disciplinary approach with clear measurable outcome.

Essential

• Hold a full manual driving licence
• Able to work shift pattern of 3 on 6 off or 2 on 4 off including Sleep In’s
• Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced residential care environment
• Enjoy activities and engaging with children and young people what activities, such as arts and crafts and outdoor games and activities.
