The Opportunity

Are you a highly organised professional with a passion for supporting young people? Cambian Spring Hill School is seeking an Admissions and Transitions Coordinator to manage our vital student referral, assessment, and transition pathways. Reporting directly to the Principal, you will be the welcoming face of our school and the engine behind smooth, child-centred transitions.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate Admissions: Manage the end-to-end referral process, working closely with our Commissioning Team and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to review paperwork and schedule assessments.
  • Plan Transitions: Design and execute robust, bespoke transition plans for children and young people entering or leaving our care.
  • Advocate & Collaborate: Attend LAC, CIN, and EHCP meetings, keeping meticulous records and building strong bonds with families, social workers, and partner agencies.
  • Track Success: Maintain accurate data, audit files, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Background in education, residential care, or social care—ideally working with SEND, SEMH, or autistic young people.
  • Skills: Outstanding organization, sharp communication, and a knack for multi-tasking under pressure.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with statutory reviews (EHCP, LAC, CIN) and commissioning workflows.
  • Attributes: An empathetic, resilient, and collaborative team player who prioritises safeguarding above all else.
