Role Description

The Role: Teacher Art / Food Technology 

Location: Cambian Chesham House school- Bury, Greater Manchester

Contract type: Full time, Term time

Class sizes are no more than 5 students.

We are looking for a  Teacher Art / Food Technology  to join our wonderful Chesham House school. The successful candidate will join our thriving school and make a real difference to the lives of our learners.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification and experience.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and learning.
• Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.

The Role:

• Teaching small groups of pupils within the classroom.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ needs.
• Support other staff to deliver high quality education consistently.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Work closely with SEND teaching assistants.
• Manage learner behaviour positively.
