Dual Registered Manager 

Lead Two Homes. Shape Futures. Transform Young Lives.

CareTech/ROC Northwest is looking for an experienced and values-driven Dual Registered Manager to lead two children’s residential homes for young people with Social Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties. You’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across both homes, ensuring excellent safeguarding, compliance, quality of care and outcomes for children. You’ll develop strong teams, promote trauma-informed practice and create safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage both children’s homes in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards
  • Ensure high-quality, personalised care plans and positive outcomes
  • Recruit, develop and retain strong, consistent teams
  • Promote consultation and participation for young people
  • Maintain safeguarding, compliance and quality standards
  • Manage complaints and child protection concerns
  • Work closely with families, carers and professionals
  • Attend care planning and review meetings
  • Build a safe, inclusive and therapeutic culture across both homes

 

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
  • Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification 
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards, SCCIF, legislation and Ofsted requirements
  • Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Full UK manual driving licence
