Cambian Beverley School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist team. Working alongside our teaching and senior staff, you will play a vital role in driving the academic progress and personal achievement of our learners.

The School

Cambian Beverley School is a small, DfE-registered independent day school. we provide high-quality specialist education for up to 16 coeducational students (aged 9–18) with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Our mission is to deliver flexible, high-impact learning programmes through exceptional pastoral care and expert teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Establish productive, trusting rapport with learners and colleagues.
  • Classroom Support: Collaborate with Teachers/Tutors to plan, evaluate, and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Mentorship: Act as a consistent role model, setting high expectations for student behaviour and attainment.
  • Personalised Care: Respond sensitively to the unique SEMH requirements of each student
