Up to £27,491.32- Dependant on experience- Pro rata salary for 39 weeks is £23094.94
40 hours a week, 52 weeks or term time only


Potterspury Lodge School is a 38 week school  for children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition and other Neurodevelopmental conditions.
 
Located in the Northamptonshire countryside with 20 acres of land for play and relaxation, the school boasts of many facilities such as a gym, sports hall, forest school and outdoor learning horticulture areas, tennis court,  music recording studio, and various outdoor play and gym equipment.
 
Children and young people have full access to the National Curriculum with teaching appropriately differentiated to meet their needs. Potterspury Lodge School delivers a proven programme of specialist education alongside clinical and therapeutic input.
 
Job Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and interested individual to work as part of the Occupational Therapy (OT) team at the school. This post will combine clinical and administrative support roles: you will work directly with individual students or groups to deliver therapy programmes, under the direction of the senior OT, in classroom and clinical environments and community settings, support the OT in assessment of student’s functional skills, report on student progress, provide support with resources for individuals and contribute to the development of the Sensory Environment. You will receive regular supervision and, as part of the Cambian OT service, be eligible for training.
Candidate Profile
It is essential that the successful candidate has an interest in developing student’s functional skills, and meeting sensory needs and have worked with children previously, preferably with children with special needs. Basic IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a busy team are essential for all aspects of this post.
A successful candidate will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post. Experience working with ASD/Experience in a school.
