‘Extraordinary Days, Every Day’

At CareTech, we are committed to delivering Extraordinary Days, Every Day through high-quality, person-centred care. Our focus is on empowering independence, building confidence and life skills, and supporting people to live fulfilling lives in environments that best suit their needs.

We are recruiting Support Workers to join our service in Benllech Isle of Anglesey, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Whether you’re new to care or experienced, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career - any truly make a difference!

About the Service – Lynvor House

Lynvor is a modern bungalow situated in the seaside village of Benllech, offering a peaceful and attractive setting within North Wales. The location provides convenient access to the Snowdonia Mountain range, the picturesque Llyn Peninsula, and the Holyhead Ferry Port, making it ideal for both leisure and travel opportunities.

The home is close to a variety of local amenities within the village, including cafés, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, churches, and convenience stores. Larger towns such as Holyhead, Llangefni, and Bangor are easily accessible by car and public transport, offering a wider range of facilities including retail outlets, supermarkets, theatres, cinemas, swimming baths, and leisure centres. These areas also provide access to numerous personal care services such as hairdressers, barbers, beauticians, and holistic therapies.

We have strong links with local organisations that support individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities, including MIND, Gateway services, and friendship clubs, ensuring access to a broad network of support.

Healthcare provision is well catered for, with a GP practice located in Benllech and additional options available in Bangor, Holyhead, and Llangefni. These areas also offer pharmacies, dental surgeries, and chiropody/podiatry services. The nearest general hospital is Ysbyty Gwynedd, located on the outskirts of Bangor.

The property itself is centrally heated and arranged over two storeys, providing comfortable accommodation for up to four individuals. Lynvor comprises four bedrooms, three of which have en-suite facilities, with the fourth having access to a bathroom nearby. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The home also features a communal lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, and a welcoming dining room.

Externally, the property benefits from a well-maintained lawned garden to the front, along with a paved area that provides ample parking.

Lynvor is registered to provide personal care and support for adults aged 18 and over with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and physical disabilities, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment tailored to individual needs.
