Role Description

We are recruiting Wake Night Support Workers to join the DOVE Project’s Supported Living Services in Plymouth, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. About the Service – Plymouth

Rockville is a wheelchair accessible building. The people we support will require hoisting and physical support and have complex needs including Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Autism, ADHD, Neurological Conditions, Acquired Brain Injuries, complex medical needs and challenging behaviours.

Service User Interests

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Senior Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:

Arts and crafts
Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
Holidays and short breaks
Walks in the local park and community
Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

• Work alone and as part of a team to provide safe, calm, and responsive overnight support
• Deliver person-centred care in line with individual support plans
• Support daily living tasks where required, including household tasks and meal preparation
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider team

Requirements

Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
Drivers desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
